    Fun facts:
  • He was photocopying his CV at Kinko's when he found out that he got the role of Nobutada in The Last Samurai

  • After he learned that he got the Nobutada role, he called his parents in Japan, telling them he was about to be in the same movie as Tom Cruise, but they didn't believe him. I guess I can imagine them saying, "You're kidding us, son!" (in Japanese, of course)

  • Many people have dubbed that role "The Japanese Legolas"

  • Shin likes R and B and rock so much and he's often found singing along to U2's "Stuck in A Moment." (Thank you Karsten for the info!)
